All themes require a self-hosted WordPress.org website. Our themes are not compatible with WordPress.com plan.

While we display the demo a certain way and with a certain set of images, you can easily edit the content blocks in our themes.  If you’re using a theme that is geared towards a coach and you’re not one, simply delete that canvas and edit the remainder of the site to fit your own needs! With Gutenberg editor you have control over any content block – you can move them throughout the page, modify, delete or add new block elements. It is very easy!

All House of Lavender themes can be purchased as part of the Website Care Package.

The themes are not offered as separate purchases, at this time.

You can certainly add a shop to your site. All of our themes are styled to work with WooCommerce but you are free to add any other eCommerce plugin that you like however the look of other ecommerce plugins may not match the look of your site.

If you choose to install these plugins, please know that since these were not developed by us, we do not provide support for them.

You can also choose to add a fast checkout functionality to your website, with software like Thrive Cart, Samcart, SendOwl or any other.

Most of the pages in our themes (with an exception of the Blog and Archive pages ) are created with the Gutenberg editor, which means you can change, modify, move, delete any block on the page or add a new (pre-styled) block element. It is very easy!

Some themes come with 3 different top menu positions & an offscreen menu.

House of Lavender themes come as well with several widget areas. You can add new widgets to these areas or remove the ones that you don’t need.

Yes, the images in our templates are free to use and are from Pexels or Unsplash. 

Yes! Because House of Lavenders themes are fully responsive, they look awesome on any screen.

Our themes are child themes of the Genesis Framework. The Genesis Framework provides a secure, search engine optimized foundation for your website.

Genesis is included complimentary with each of our theme packages, so you are not required to purchase it separately (unless you’d like to). Some of our clients choose to purchase Genesis for the perks of having a StudioPress membership – access to framework support, child theme discounts, etc. But it’s certainly not required to purchase and either way, you’ll always have access to Genesis updates right from inside your WordPress dashboard.

After you purchase the Website Care package, you will receive an email containing the Installation & Setup form you need to fill in with information for setting up your website.


The installation will be completed within 5 business days from the date we receive your installation form.


After we install your theme, you’ll receive an email letting you know the installation is complete. Then you’ll be ready to add your content and products and launch your beautiful new website!
